He is here, visiting you, and yet, you can't be happy. He seems content in a long distance relationship and it is hard to discuss with him the possibility of getting closer.
The only consistency is his answer "you don't understand, there is so much weight I have to carry because of my family back home, my old and sick parents, my niece who wants to study, my brother who needs an operation..."
But he is here, for the time being, you brush away your heart's feelings and try and enjoy the moment.
And he leaves... again... And the wait starts again.
